- I slept late yesterday
- If I wake up early,I'll feel drowsy and cannot perform
- My spouse/kids/parents are not supportive
- My party life will go for a toss
- It's fashionable to sleep post midnight
- You are not a successful person if you aren't sleeping late
- Blah,Blah....
Sleeping late in the bed is as bad as an addiction as would be cigarettes,drugs,paan,liquor-something no one can raise a finger at.The psychological, family and societal pressures on a smoker would drive a guilty feeling in the offender, but no such guilt can be seen in the late risers. Both are equally bad-for self and society.Getting up late is against the nature's laws, our body is inherently built to tap the early morning energy for a richer, meaningful life.
Why is it so that we keep on doing things which we know, understand and realise are not good for us? The complex psychological jungle, which is commonly known as brain, has been conditioned by us,through our excuses that it is OKAY if we do things which are not in congruence with our nature. We are adept at blaming from the local councilor to the PM for all ailments which suffers our public life-yet we cannot look at our own actions for not improving.
